NTUH Neurosurgical Team Visits RSCM

On September 10, 2025, a distinguished medical delegation led by Dr. Po-Hao Huang, Neurosurgeon from National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), visited Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital (RSCM), Jakarta for an academic exchange and institutional dialogue.

The visit marked another important step in strengthening Taiwan–Indonesia medical collaboration, focusing on clinical knowledge sharing and the advancement of innovative medical technologies.

Advancing AI Integration in Clinical Practice

During the session, Dr. Huang and his team shared:

• Clinical insights from neurosurgical practice at NTUH

• Applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare

Introducing Taiwan Excellence: RETINA Navigation System

In addition to academic exchange, the event also featured the introduction of RETINA Surgical Navigation System, a Taiwan Excellence award-winning medical technology.

The RETINA system, designed to enhance surgical precision and intraoperative navigation, was presented as part of Taiwan’s innovative contribution to modern neurosurgery and advanced medical procedures.

The system received positive feedback from attending physicians and clinical professionals, particularly regarding its:

• Real-time navigation capability

• Enhanced surgical accuracy
